National Account Manager - Wholesale & Convenience

Beavertown began life in a tiny BBQ joint in Haggerston, North London. In 2020 we opened BEAVERWORLD, our Out of this World brewery & mothership in Ponders End. Alongside our Lockwood Brewery in Tottenham and our micro-brewery at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium we have the capacity to brew a staggering 90 million pints a year.

The Role
Fancy joining a team where you will drive new and existing business nationally to generate demand for Beavertown beer in the Convenience sector? In this role, you’ll educate our customers on our brand, create the strategy for this channel and successfully implement it.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Full account management responsibility for Off Trade C&C and Convenience channels
  • Formulate and implement specific customer range and distribution strategies and increasing Beavertown brand awareness across the customer base
  • Target and collaborate with multiple operators across the country to build Beavertowns’ presence and grow drive business in the channel
  • Build an ongoing contact plan across the field operations teams with our Off Trade Wholesalers
  • Educate and train all key customers on Beavertowns’ brand and story
  • Establish ongoing ways of working and principles with a variety of internal and external operational teams to ensure that we always provide an efficient and amazing customer service
  • Ensure all customers are ‘Beavered Up’ with great POS
  • Achieve monthly and annual volume, and revenue targets
  • Communicate sales results on a weekly and monthly basis to wider commercial team
  • Represent Beavertown Brewery at promotions, tastings and special events

What You’ll Bring To Us

  • Strong track record working as a National Account Manager with a specific focus on both Wholesale and Convenience customers
  • Strong sales and negotiation background developed in an Account Management role
  • Proven track record in building strong customer relationships with Wholesale and Convenience customers
  • Experience successfully managing a P&L along with promotional planning and execution
  • Experience taking the initiative to gather and use customer feedback to identify customer and market opportunities
  • Proven analytical skills and understanding of syndicated data
  • Demonstrated diligence and evidence of follow through on all commitments (internal and external stakeholders)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, easily able to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve performance goals while aligning to the brand goals and objectives
  • High level of personal drive and focus on results
  • A team player who can see the bigger picture
  • A passion for beer
