BARS MANAGER
ROLE OVERVIEW
Beavertown is looking for a bars Manager to join the team!
You understand how Social can build a Brand. You will have launched products, campaigns and new activity. These deliver not only against the business need but those of the customer as well. You’ll be consumer insight driven, have an eye for design and love getting stuck in.
The Bars Manager will report into the Experience Manager, manage a team of Bar staff and will ensure that we deliver an exceptional, engaging and a good old time for guests who come to our Bar(s).
Working with the Experience Manager, you will be leading a team to ensure that the experience and offering is executed at the highest level with responsibility for the comfort, safety and enjoyment of our guests and team, as well as financial success.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Main Duties: – Site Management
- Managing daily operations across a number of areas and sites
- Managing and leading a diverse team
- Responsible for guest experience
- Responsible for driving sales and hitting targets
- Maximising the potential of Beaverworld through retail, F&B and event sales
- Optimising opportunities to drive income by being hands on, assisting the team and getting stuck in
- Engaging with the local community to ensure that Beavertown is involved with and drives experiences for the local people, town and surrounding areas
- Overseeing team rotas
- Identifying and implementing team training
- Identifying and recruiting new team members
- Completing weekly reports
- Monitoring guest experience and working with the wider team to develop the Beaverworld experience
Security, Health and Safety
- Licensing Act: to ensure all members of staff adhere to weights and measure legislation
- To comply fully with all statutory requirements on Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and all other aspects of Beaverworld’s H&S procedures
- Ensure that the Risk Management and Operational Event Manual is adhered to at all times
- Ensure that the centre and immediate area is safe and secure
Financial Performance
- Financially accountable for banking procedures and errors in banking
- Maintain responsibility for the banking and reporting procedures
- Experienced in budget management
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE
- Minimum five years’ experience in a management position
- Proven operational, sales and events experience
- Experience of running multiple sites in different locations
- Highly organised, detail-focused and efficient
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to inspire a team
- Guest experience, service and team focused
- Ability to take initiative and remain calm under pressure
- Experience in events management
- A confident communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Previous experience in immersive experiences and hospitality operations is preferable
- A clear understanding and experience of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety
- Flexible, evening and weekend work is required
