IPA Beer

You may have heard the letters I-P-A get thrown around a lot as a beer fan. But 'what is IPA beer?' and 'what does IPA mean?' we hear you ask. Well, IPA stands for India Pale Ale and is one of many types of pale ales brewed using pale malts. IPA Beer definitely packs a punch and gives an out-of-this-world hoppy, zesty, zingy experience for easy-sippin' at any time. Remember, it goes down smoother in a beer glass!

IPAs are usually pretty light and refreshing and all about those wonderfully hoppy flavours. Floral, fruity and citrussy are all things you can expect when that first drop hits your tongue. But there are loads of different IPAs out there like our flowery, earthy Neck Oil IPA tastes very different to our tropical Tropigamma IPA. So, we say to get out there and start trying them all!

Interested in a bit of history, are we? Well, let us grab our historian hats and get ourselves ready to blow your minds with knowledge. *ahem* Despite what the name suggests, IPAs actually originated in England. Yep. We couldn't believe it either. The name refers to the East India Trading Company rather than the country. Basically, because beer didn't travel well, and India was too hot and humid for beer brewing, UK brewers invented IPAs so they could survive the long trip from England to India. Pretty cool, huh?
