Beavertown Pop-Up: Tattoos Terms & Conditions

  1. Tattoos will be taking place on 17th, 24th , 25th & 26th August 2024 during the allotted booking times only. Tattoo bookings must be made ahead of time via the booking system on https://beavertownbrewery.co.uk/blogs/events/tattoo-bookings or on the day with a member of Beavertown staff. If you have not booked prior to attending the event, we cannot guarantee you will get a slot. By completing a booking you are agreeing to the terms laid out below.
  2. Tattoos must be selected from the flash sheet provided on the website or at the pop-up event. One tattoo per person only. Tattoo size will be between 5cm - 10cm only. Tattoo location will be on arms and bottom of legs only.
  3. You must arrive on time for your appointment. If you more than 5 mins late you will forfeit your booking.
  4. As part of your free tattoo you must agree to a photo of the tattoo area which will be used for marketing purposes.
  5. Under The Tattooing of Minors Act 1969, it is illegal to tattoo anyone under the age of 18. Parental consent is not accepted. You may be asked to provide ID at the appointment.
  6. At your appointment, you’ll be asked to fill out a consent form. You'll be expected to disclose information about health conditions and medications. Certain conditions, medications, or medical histories will mean we can’t tattoo you.
  7. Confidential information is stored in accordance with record-keeping requirements from the Local Authority and disposed of in line with GDPR guidelines. Completed forms will be kept in locked storage and shredded when no longer needed.
  8. If, on the day of your tattoo, your skin is showing signs of inflammation, damage, or infection, we won’t be able to tattoo you. This could include if your skin is already showing signs that you’ve had an allergic reaction to something, if you’re having a flare-up of eczema or acne, any cuts, sunburn or peeling skin, severe dryness, fungal infection, scratches, blisters, or areas of broken or cracked skin. Tattoos can cause flare-ups of existing skin conditions, even if they are not near your planned tattoo site. We expect each customer to monitor this and let us know if they have any concerns with as much notice as possible.
  9. We cannot tattoo you if you are pregnant or if you are breastfeeding.
  10. You need to leave at least 2 weeks between your tattoo, and a vaccine (including a Covid or Flu vaccine).
  11. You need to leave at least 4 weeks between your tattoo and any minor cosmetic procedures (like dermal fillers, botox, cosmetic tattooing, or micro blading), dentistry, or minor injuries.
  12. For any other operations, chemo, ongoing hospital treatment, medication, or anything else you're not sure about, please consult with your GP, and check with us before booking in.
  13. On the day of your booking your tattoo artist will talk you through the booking and will provide you with some information about aftercare. You acknowledge that infection is possible after getting a tattoo, particularly if the aftercare plan is not followed properly.
  14. You understand that a tattoo is a permanent change to your appearance and to the best of your knowledge you do not have any physical, mental or medical impairment or disability that may affect as a direct or in-direct result of getting a tattoo. On the day of your tattoo, we have the right to refuse if we do not feel the above has been understood.
  15. Beavertown takes no responsibility for the final tattoo if you are not happy. Any touch ups required will have to be done at your own cost.
