Lazer Crush FAQs

Ahh… the age old question after whether the chicken or egg came first and what the meaning of life is (it’s 42 obvs). Lazer Crush is not a 0% alcohol beer but it is labelled alcohol free.

How can that be? Anything alcoholic beverage with an ABV 0.5% and lower are legally able to be labelled as alcohol free. And there are actually many things with a higher level of alcohol than Lazer Crush does! It has an ABV of 0.3%. Which is less alcohol than a slice of white bread (about 1.9%).

Beers with lower levels of alcohol typically have fewer calories as well (although this isn’t always the case). How many calories are in alcohol free beer? Well when it comes to Lazer Crush, there are only 83 calories per can. That’s pretty nifty. And totally crushable for the designated drivers out there.

If you’re looking for something a bit different to your usual pint of Neck Oil, Lazer Crush is a great alternative. It’s a bit more fruity and peachy with some zesty bitterness. And hey, if the fruitiness isn’t quite your thing either, we’ve got a bunch of other IPAs to try out. Check out our IPA buying guide.

Congrats on your impending promotion to parent! Although beers labelled as alcohol free might seem okay, it’s generally advised to avoid drinking beer when you’re pregnant to minimise the risks – even a small amount can harm your baby’s development so best to just avoid altogether until after they’re born.

Lazer crush is packed with out-of-this-world flavour (just like all our beers). Every mouthful has a zap of sweet peach iced tea and ripe mango with a hint of fresh pine, followed by bags of orange and zesty citrus. And finished off with a punch of grapefruit of bitterness.
