Beavertown began life in a tiny BBQ joint in Haggerston, North London. In 2020 we opened BEAVERWORLD, our Out of this World brewery & mothership in Ponders End. Alongside our Lockwood Brewery in Tottenham Hale and our micro-brewery at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium we have the capacity to brew a staggering 90 million pints a year.

The Role
Fancy joining an innovative company where you’ll shape the beer category of today and tomorrow? In this role, you’ll:
Deliver best in class category insight to our customers and our business – creating and developing strategies, solutions and recommendations to grow our brand
Develop and deliver the Beavertown range and merchandising strategy in Trade
Partner with our sales & marketing teams to build customer propositions for new products; and to monitor and improve the performance of existing Beavertown products


What You’ll Be Doing
Strategic Planning

  • Develop Category based execution plans around Price, Promotion, Range Optimisation, and Merchandising to sub channel level and drive their implementation across key customers
  • Identify new opportunities in the category across channels and customer base, and ensure Beavertown plans are built to exploit these opportunities
  • Represent customers and category needs internally, ensuring balanced alignment & representation through NPD & Budget planning cycles
  • Develop critical category business questions to stimulate relevant research for key strategic planning workstreams


Commercial Planning

  • Create and utilise granular level category, customer and channel reporting & analysis showcasing challenges and opportunities
  • Develop and execute a best in class range review process delivering key Beavertown category and commercial objectives through customer range reviews


Category and Customer Strategy

  • Develop, for key customers, specific category strategies and tactics that deliver on the Beavertown growth strategy
  • Work directly with account managers & commercial marketing team to present category driven insights to key customers – driving the Beavertown innovation & growth agenda
  • Introduce structured reporting process for key category metrics across channels for both internal and customer facing presentations


What You’ll Bring To Us

  • Strong track record leading Off-Trade Category Management in FMCG
  • Good experience leveraging category data from a variety of sources and bringing it to life through data analysis and insight generation using core data platforms e.g. Nielsen, Kantar, CGA, Dunnhumby, etc.
  • Previous experience translating brand strategies into account level category plans, including best range, NPD and format decisions
  • Past experience collaborating cross functionally and leading through influence to drive category driven growth projects
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • First class communication skills – written, verbal and presenting
  • Strong track record achieving personal and category performance goals independently
  • High level of personal drive with a focus on delivering exceptional results
