We’ve been listening, laughing and losing it over your stories all Summer, but not all stories are narrated equally. Some STORYTELLERS left us captivated by their universal tales, and we wanted to meet them. So we did.
On their very first date, Fran’s wardrobe malfunction left her fiancé Krisz in stitches. The plan was for their eyes to meet over Neck Oil, but even the beverage renowned for bringing people together, couldn’t stop her outfit falling apart…
“I made myself this beautiful jumpsuit… but I managed to totally muck up one part of it. So I had to add in an extra bit of fabric in the trousers area”
Krisz was waiting for her when she arrived, but in a comic twist of fate, Fran had been stood up by her modesty patch, replacing her gusto for fashion with, well, a gust. “I was like, oh, God, I really need to fix this”. Quickly tailoring the night to his date’s needs, Krisz discreetly conferred with the bartender, who came to their rescue with a sewing kit.
With their love now also bursting at the seams, they’re set to get hitched this November on a scenic farm in Scotland, where they’ve enlisted friends and family as ‘Beer Boys’, handing out fresh Beavertown brews and cocktails to their guests.
But before the big day, they intend to squeeze the most of Summer, pubbing, gigging and even chucking themselves around the Ninja Warrior UK course. We’re confident they’ll stay together through any obstacle, though we can’t vouch for Fran’s outfit.
