Beer garden outfit ideas

What’s the best part about summer in the UK? No, it’s not the rain (duh). And it’s not the 99 Flakes from the slightly dodgy ice cream van man down the road. It’s the bank holidays, obv.

And where better to spend a bank holiday than in a pub garden? Nowhere, that’s where. So grab your sunscreen. Put together your best outfit. And fire up the pub finder. It’s beer garden season, baby!

What to wear to a beer garden

You might be thinking that dressing for the pub garden is a walk in the park (it might be, we don’t know where your local is) but you gotta put together a good outfit for it, bank holidays don’t come round every week, now do they?

Why?

  1. So you feel cool – the sun’ll be out (we hope) and you don’t want pit stains.
  2. So you look cool – This is obvious. Who doesn’t want to look good?
  3. Well, that’s kind of it. Thanks for coming to our TED talk.

Here’s how to put together a good bank holiday pub garden outfit. You’re welcome.

Can’t go wrong with a graphic tee

Whether you opt for jeans or shorts or your trusty dungarees, you can never go wrong with a graphic tee. They’re slouchy, comfy, and oh-so-cool – both style-wise and temp-wise. And Beavertown t-shirts are always 100% organic cotton. So they keep you cool and they’re sustainable.

Bring a hoodie for chilly evenings

It doesn’t matter how warm the UK weather is; once that sun goes down you know you’re about to get chills. And not the good kind you get from listening to a really good song or scary story. The ones that make you wish you had about 10 blankets to wrap up in. Hoodies to the rescue. You might look weird carrying that hoodie into the pub garden at 1pm, but by 9 you’ll be laughing as everyone else starts shivering.

Pair your favourite trainers with statement socks

Didn’t you hear? Crew socks are back in. Pull them up high and show off that Beavertown logo. Don’t forget your fave pair of trainers to finish the look. You can thank us for being the coolest cat in the pub garden later.

Stay cool with a bucket hat

Gonna be sat in the sun all afternoon? Slap a bucket hat on ya head. In collaboration with Rainkiss, we bring you the ultimate sustainable festival bucket hat. It’s like your own mini sun & rain umbrella. Covered in skulls and crafted from 100% recycled polyester fabric.

Bring it all together with a crossbody bag

Sling a Beavertown crossbody bag over your shoulder to keep all your bits safe. It makes sure you don’t lose your stuff. And it fits everything – phone, wallet, keys, spare socks, lip balm, and the kitchen sink. But no matter how much you can stuff in this bag, keep your mitts off those Beavertown pint glasses. If you really want one, you can buy them instead.

Go all botanical with our new Skull Garden collection

If you go down to the OMINOUS-SOUNDING BEAVERTOWN SKULL GARDEN today, you’re sure for a big surprise… Don’t worry though, this is less Addams Family and more Secret Garden with a twist. Featuring some pretty wicked artwork all printed on our cool AF clothing.
